Admission Average Computation

Brock University: 500 Glenridge Avenue, St. Catharines, Ontario L2S 3A1

Ontario Mathematics notes:  *Programs that require EITHER Adv. Functions OR Calc. & Vectors with a specified minimum average requirement will use the better of the two mathematics grades to calculate an admission.

Brock University intends to make every effort to be as flexible as possible in the transition from the old to new mathematics curriculum. Students who have completed the old Calculus should take the Calc. & Vectors if it is a required course. The old calculus will normally be considered to be the rough equivalent of the new Adv. Functions. If both are taken, both can be used in the average. Applicants who have taken the old Calculus should NOT take Adv. Functions to satisfy the double mathematics requirement.
